Order
of
the
Arrow
(OA).
The
Order
of
the
Arrow
is
a
service
and
leadership
organization
within
the
Boy
Scouts
of
America
and
has
been
a
part
of
the
BSA
since
1915.

The
fact
that
your
youth
has been elected signifies that they best exemplify the high ideals of the Scout Oath and Law.
In
order
to
become
a
full
member
of
the
OA,
each
elected
member
must
participate
in
an
induction
weekend.
Due
to
COVID-19,
this
weekend
has
been
shorted
to
a
little
over
a
night
and
a
day
and
will
be
done
virtually
on
November
6-7,
2020
starting
at
5:00PM.
This
induction
event
will
be
the
last
opportunity
this
year
for
your
Scout
to
become
a
member
of
the
OA.
We
have
scheduled
two
parent
meetings
in
order
to
discuss the details of the induction experience and answer any questions you might have.

How do I pay for the Induction Event?
Complete the registration form included at the parents meeting and email to the council by November 2
What do I get for my Registration fee?
Fee includes: Order of the Arrow Sash, Achewon Nimat Lodge Flap patch, Order of the Arrow membership book,
Induction Event, lodge dues, Ordeal bead and lodge activity bead
What time does the Virtual Induction Start & End?
The induction starts at 5:00PM on Friday, November 6 and ends at around 4:30PM on Saturday, November 7th
What responsibilities do my parents have?
Supervise youth during his/her induction and provide booklets at specified times.
