Following the merger of Machek N’Gult Lodge 375 and Royaneh Lodge 282, the original ten villages of Achewon Nimat Lodge were: Charrowood Village (San Leandro, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo Area) El Camino/Candlestick Village (San Francisco South) Golden Acorn Village (Oakland Area) Golden Gate Village (San Francisco North) Live Oak Village (Oakland Area) Mission Peak Village (Fremont, Union City, Niles Area) Mission Trails Village (San Francisco Area) Serra Village (San Francisco Area) South Village (Hayward Area) Twin Valley Village (Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, Sunol area) Following the various San Francisco Bay Area Council district mergers and realignments, so too did the villages for Achewon Nimat change. With each merger, a new village was born and arrowmen from different villages joined forces. Along the way, the villages changed their names to reflect the heritage of the local Native Americans.
