Welcome to Wekemnayon Village, the village of the Brotherhood. We serve all the communities of Oakland, Emeryville, Castro Valley, Hayward, San Lorenzo and San Leandro. San Francisco and the northern half of Daly City of the Golden Gate District of the San Francisco Bay Area Council. With a history of service that dates back to 1947 with Machek N'Gult lodge. The Wekemnayon village continues to provide leadership and service to the Packs, Troops, District and Council. Our village name is from the American Indian tribe of the Leni Lenape of the Delaware Valley and translates as “New Brotherhood”.
